Who updates the site?
The Internet Bureau have developed websites which allow for easy updates of all aspects of the catalogue and even other pages. Alternatively, we can update the site for you for a small fee per update.

Do I have to pay for a domain name?
Yes, because The Internet Bureau always register domain names in your own name you have to pay. The price of a .co.uk is £10 per year and a .com is £15 per year both of which are monitored and renewed on your behalf. If you already have a domain name we can facilitate linking this to our servers.

I want to sell online is this possible?
Yes, we can set up a full e-commerce website with secure payment facilities and shopping carts.

I already have a website, what use is The Internet Bureau?
Many people have websites designed a number of years ago which simply need updating or more facilities added. For example, you may wish to move your business to sell online or simply prefer a more modern look. Either way, The Internet Bureau can help by taking your existing site and updating it in any way you wish.

What about email addresses?
Under your domain name you can have any number of email addresses. For example if you have www.theinternetbureau.com then you can have enquiries@theinternetbureau.com or anything@theinternetbureau.com. As long as it fits with conventional email name restrictions. The email is provided as part of your website.

Are your servers safe?
The Internet Bureau takes every possible precaution to prevent hacking or viruses on their servers. In the unlikely event servers do go down, the team are available to correct it immediately.

How do I find out if people are looking at my site?
This is an important question and The Internet Bureau therefore offer a full live website statistics service which allows you to view how many people have visited your site, which pages they have looked at, how long they were online and much more.
